GLOBALIZED DANCEFLOORS

[HearDis! 307]

Just as so many other sectors in today’s world, the dance music scene is more intertwined than ever and interesting intercontinental output is produced nearly every day. Just take this Atapy remix of Dake’s newest release as a prime example of how music serves as a barrier-breaking universal language and can result in a great, internationally understandable floorfiller! A Brazilian label, namely Playperview, releases a new record by a Brazilian DJ and Producer, namely Dake and receives a solid remix treatment by a Romanian DJ and Producer, namely Atapy. Sounds confusing? Just stream “Internal Disaster” right here and see that it’s easy as one two three…Splendid!

Hence the silence on the HUGO Blog. But in order to keep you, my dear blog readers, also in the loop of what’s happening on the red carpet at the Berlinale, here’s a picture I would definitely put into the category “best dressed” – it’s actor Florian David Fitz in HUGO.
