Portuguese duo Johnwaynes recently released an EP on one of Brooklyn’s most thrilling underground labels “Let’s Play House”. On that release their track “I Can See” receives the remix treatment from label owner Jacques Renault – with breathtaking results. You got your punching kick there, your smooth bassline and a lovely cow bell melody. What more is there to desire?

The Italian Slok considers himself more of a great pasta chef than an underground contemporary electronic music artist…we’re not buying it, because for his new release for Circle Music he teamed up with his brothers in crime My Favourite Robot. „Feel Alive“ is a contemporary house monster which mixes up the goods of nineties house like warm organ chords and an oldschool styled bassline with MFRs sleepy melancholic vocals. Deep and sexy indeed!

Matthias Zimmermann, heavyweight new talent on the bass and post-dubstep scene brings us his first vinyl release on Tigersushi after his debut EP on Sound Pellegrino and a single on the coolish Discobelle Blog/Label. The tune we chose sounds like it is 100% made for the Balearic Islands. A groovy beat that catches you and makes you wanna dance, synth melodies that make you wanna fly high! Let the sunrise come.

Here’s an interesting one for you. Mungolian Jet Set released the original track for this song, “We Are The Shining,” almost a year ago. Then, a couple weeks back, we got wind of this remix of the song by Skatebård, a Bergen-based Norwegian producer who is best known for his hip-hop productions with Side Brok. We’re not sure why this is just seeing the light of day now, but we’re certainly glad it is… And we’re happy to share it with you!

How To Dress Well is the stage name of Tom Krell, a Chicago-based musician with an ear equally attuned for R&B and ambience. “Ocean Floor For Everything” is the first single from his upcoming full length “Total Loss” on Weird World Record Co/ Domino. It’s beautiful.

Marie Madeleine is a lovely French that coos and chants her way through super catchy dance tunes. Or at least that’s what we thought. On the newest Marie Madeleine song, “The Nihilist Song,” there’s no trace of the vocals that first caught our attention in “Swimming Pool,” but instead cooing and chanting about absurdist philosophy from a deep-voiced man.
