Clubfeet are five synth-pop-aficionados from Melbourne you should keep on your radar for 2013. Joyce Muniz is a Brazilian-born DJ, Producer and vocal artist residing in Vienna, who managed to make quite a name for herself over the past couple of years with her energetic DJ sets and productions. On New York City’s very own Plant Music – run by the legendary Stretch Armstrong and Dominique Keegan – these two worlds gently collide and result in just the sexy bassline-driven and multifaceted type of track you’d expect. Muito bom!

LET’S GET PHYSICAL
[HearDis! 296]
Charlotte Bendiks is a Norwegian DJ and Producer, who, when she’s not playing out or working on sassy music, likes to chill naked in a jacuzzi with a glass of Möet in each hand. Well, we drink to that! To hear what she’s all about, stream her track “Too Hot To Handle” right here, flaunting a tricky and sexy groove, topped by obscurely animating vocals. In order to understand the lyrics and the track in its entirety, one needs to be fluent in a number of languages, with body language being the most important one…
HOW STEEP IS YOUR LOVE?
[HearDis! 294]
The quiet storm-tronica-wave just won’t seem to come to an end – and boy, are we relieved! George Maple is, just as you’d expect by the name, an attractive woman from Australia that loves to lay her sultry voice over synth-fortified heartbreak-arrangements. It’s kind of ironic that she’d release music perfectly fitting the cold temperatures on the – from her perspective – other side of the world these days… but again, we’re more than relieved to have her accompany us through these cold and short days. We’re sure you’ll be just as relieved to have her in your life, so remember where you heard about her first!
HUGO AND SPOTIFY
The HUGO Fashion Show is drawing nearer, so it’s time for a special treat to get you in the mood. We created an exclusive playlist on Spotify – sort of a pre-Fashion Show soundtrack, inspired by the new HUGO collection. All you need to enjoy the music is to install Spotify and click the play button above.
INTERCONTINENTAL FOOTWORK
[HearDis! 293]
For this intercontinental dance fest Australia’s Japan Aircraft team up with the American producer Romeo’s Fault to rework his first single “Goose Bumps”. Released on Continous Cool this pop infused disco groover is just the perfect track to keep you in party mood during the last day of the weekend.
STALLION ON THE DANCEFLOOR
[HearDis! 291]
For the second half of 2012 there was only one “Stallion On The Dancefloor”, a Korean guy called Psy. For 2013 the tiger-suited, cowboy-hatted Briton I, Tay Stayness decided to claim the crown for himself. His disco-funk influenced song might not be as blatantly catchy, but it is equally funny.
BASEMENT LOVE
[HearDis! 289]
The Parisian duo Bot’Ox never was one for the fast paced dance tracks and always preferred the more “krauty” sound instead. But this ultra-slow new track by Cosmo Vitelli and Julien Briffaz came as a surprise none the less: it plays more like the intro to one of Luc Besson’s early films and not at all like a pop or even dance tune. A great move from the two Frenchmen and an essential download to get you into the mood for the upcoming album Sans Dormir!
SUMMER’S REVIVAL
[HearDis! 290]
What else to expect from the cheeky Portland duo YACHT than to release a summer tune in the middle of winter? Well, actually quite a lot, since this bands never seizes to surprise. But as for now this summer song, describing the state of mind of total freedom during a second summer (or something like that), shall be enough.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM HUGO TRACKS
[HearDis! 283]
Everyone,
I hope you had a great time during the holidays and are now looking just as forward to this new year as I do. As every year, I will make sure to provide you guys with the hottest tracks of the moment and of course will have a lot of interesting stuff and goodies in store for you.
We’re starting the new year with a bang! Canadian powerhouse Tiga, who clearly does not need an introduction in the realms of electronic music fans, releases a brand new mix CD entitled Tiga Non Stop, which features a single that is co-produced by Matthew Dear. It’s everything that you would expect it to be.
Have a happy and healthy year, guys!
