I’m loving the blouse and slim-cut cigarette pants and right now I am debating to get the lightweight summer scarf as well. The cute bird print is such a great way to freshen up your spring wardrobe. Even though the lovely Nina Kraviz won’t be posting on the HUGO Blog anymore and has already posted a sweet “Goodbye”, she will stay with us. How? The beautiful singer, producer and DJ is the face of our current HUGO Deep Red Fragrance campaign. Nina is such a good fit for the HUGO brand – a strong and independent woman with a mind of her own. But no more words from me, let’s get inspired by a quote from Nina herself: ”I am just doing what I am doing and what I feel. I have never been afraid of mistakes. Nina here! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me and I just wanted to share a little snapshot I recently took in Berlin with y’all. I kinda like it because it shows a nice combo of two of my biggest obsessions: vinyl records and neat little handbags! I go shop for records whenever I get the chance and I love that I sometimes have the privilege, as in this pic, to calmly browse the storage place of a record store. I always get really excited in places like that and dig my way through the many new and unknown treasures one can find there. And since so much good music is still or often not available digitally, you can find quite a few cool secret weapons here that can add some uniqueness to your dj set! Of course a shopping spree like that needs the right purse to go with it – and I simply love my stylish little HUGO leather clutch! One can never have enough nice records or handbags, if you ask me…

It is always amazing to see how the original sketch from the designer comes to life. From draft to sample to production to store. The sketches always inspire my imagination and help me focus on the pieces instead of the model and the look as a whole. This is also why I like to share them here on the HUGO Blog. So when I got my hands on a sketch of one of the twitter-inspired pieces I just had to show it to. A fitted blazer, a slim cut blouse and the HUGO signature slim cut cigarette pants – a contemporary and progressive look with a decent dose of playfulness.

I am excited to present you the very first twitter-inspired designs from the current HUGO Spring 2013 Collection. As a twitter-addict I am head over heels in love with the bird print. It’s so summery and it clearly makes a statement. The print comes in mint green and light pink on blouses, pants and scarfs. My advice: get your hands on one of those pieces before they’re gone.
