as a longtime record collector, I used to plan some of the city travels I did in the past based on the quality of the local record stores. This means a lot of nice memories still pop up whenever I see the cover of certain records. Plus, the guys on the counter usually can not only be of assistance when it comes to finding great music, but they’re usually also aware of cool things to do and nice places to visit in a city. A record store definitely worth checking out is Rough Trade in London. It is really well selected, has a long and impressing history and is nothing short of an institution for London’s pulsating music scene. But see for yourselves!
