VOGUE FASHION’S NIGHT OUT CELEBRATE WITH US

When it comes to Fashion, September is the month of change, the month in which we all get ready for the new season. The Fall/Winter collections arrive in store, fashion magazines release their bulkiest issue of the year and it’s time for the annual VOGUE Fashion’s Night Out, a night of after-hours shopping and FNO-exclusive events. This year, I would like to invite you to join us for a mobile scavenger hunt in our New Yorker Stores on September 8, where you can unlock a jaw-dropping prize. On September 9, I’ll be jetting back to Germany for our Fashion’s Night Out Party in Duesseldorf, where the shopping fun continues. It may look like we’ve ventured into the film business or that we are going a little nuts here at the HUGO BOSS headquarters, but neither is the case. This is just one of our latest projects for the HUGO brand and by now I am sure you all know that HUGO is all about surprises, about being different, contemporary and exquisite!

So why did we make the British top model James Rousseau scream in front of the HUGO camera? Rest assured that we will soon disclose the secret.

FALL/WINTER UPDATE – CONTEMPORARY CLASSICS

When it comes to fashion, the fall/winter season has already started. With the new HUGO Menswear Collection hitting the stores, I find all my male colleagues obsessing over classic slim fit jackets and bright red knits. To put it in a nut-shell, the new season is all about the mix of classic tailoring and contemporary highlights, whether it’s a simple jacket with an oversized hood, pants with leather details or classic accessories in the bright HUGO red. Conclusion: Contemporary classics are the new cool!

Are you ready to be blown away by our new HUGO Campaign for Fall/Winter 2011? Let’s catch a first glimpse, shall we?! Top model Sasha Pivovarova and model/actor Jamie Dornan, whom you may know from the movie “Marie Antoinette”, are sporting the chic and urban HUGO looks for the Fall/Winter season. The campaign was shot in a neglected building to emphasize the rough and individual style of the new HUGO Collection in a figurative way. I hope you love the new collection just as much as I do!

HUGO EYEWEAR: INNOVATION MEETS FLEXIBILITY

Our creative and innovative minds are always up for something new and astounding. Our latest coup is the new HUGO Eyewear Collection with some pretty great features: The innovative “double meniscus” hinge conceals the temple closing-mechanism, becoming a precious element and providing utmost flexibility without affecting the purity of the lines. The lightness and the post-modern style of the collection are typical for the HUGO brand.

INTRODUCING JARED LETO FOR HUGO JUST DIFFERENT

Those of you, who follow my updates on twitter, might have already heard the big news: Jared Leto, the handsome actor and lead singer of the band “Thirty Seconds to Mars” is the face of the campaign for the new HUGO Just Different fragrance. I think it is quite obvious why we picked him for this job – he is “just different”!
