YACHT are not your typical electro pop group, that’s for sure. The Portland-based duo have a pretty serious (yet seriously funny) manifesto, they spell their name with all capital letters, and they cover French avant-pop music that was originally backed by an avant-jazz group – and they somehow make it funky.
