You know how the old saying goes — the early bird catches the worm! I woke up at the break of dawn for my early call time. Today is the day of the HUGO fall-winter 2012 fashion show (at Gemäldegalerie in Berlin) and my first stop of the day is the pre-show rehearsal. My favourite numero uno girl, the stunning Karlie Kloss, is here, ditto with the ferocious Joan Smalls and Liu Wen who I love.

Now if you excuse me my dearest readers, I think I’m being called for hair & make-up. See you guys at the show!

Are you excited for the upcoming HUGO Fashion Show? I am. Getting ready for fashion shows (or any big event) is never easy, especially when you’re attending one of the biggest shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Luckily, I’m not on my own. I have the honor of being dressed by HUGO for their fashion show and yesterday afternoon was my fitting. I popped by this cool, warehouse-like venue where I tried a couple of outfits. Naturally, everything was rather oversized because I’m a petite guy. However, thanks to HUGO’s stellar team of pattern designers and seamstresses, my clothes are going to be be altered based on my measurements and everything will be ready before show time. I can’t wait to see the final result.

Welcome to the final fitting for the HUGO Fashion Show tomorrow! All the models are in a good mood, especially model Sara Blomqvist, who really seemed to enjoy getting a manicure. Everyone’s pretty excited about the show and I hope you are looking forward to it as well. We will be streaming the HUGO Fashion Show Fall/Winter 2012 live here on the HUGO Blog tomorrow. At 01:30 p.m. (CET) we’ll begin with the red carpet coverage and the backstage interviews and at 02:00 p.m. (CET) the fashion show will start.
