RKC began as a solo side-project for Babyshambles’ songwriter Adam Ficek. After leaving Babyshambles and Pete Doherty behind, though, he was able to fully focus on the project, which should come as wonderful news for any lover of music: RKC blows Babyshambles away. This new song, “Kittens Become Cats,” is nearly flawless – slinky, programmed drums and raw but sparse guitars are hinged around pitter-pattering vocals. And that’s just the verse.
