The second exhibition of the Hugo Boss Asia Art Award for Emerging Asian Artists has opened at the Rockbund Art Museum (RAM) in Shanghai.
Celebrating ermerging artists
As part of the Hugo Boss arts sponsorship program, the biannual Hugo Boss Asia Art Award aims to honor emerging contemporary artists in Asia who are in the early stages of their artistic creation and exhibition practices. The project is developed as a long-term and ongoing exchange between challenging topics and contexts in Asia, supporting young talent in the region.
Larys Frogier, RAM Director and Chair of the Hugo Boss Asia Art jury, said: “The exhibition presents completely new productions and truly inspiring art projects. As such, it highlights the rich possibilities for cultural exchange and dialogue across the regions in Asia.”
