Paris is loved by fashionistas around the world, and stylist and blogger Pernille Teisbaek is no exception. On a trip to the city to personalize her BOSS Bespoke bag, Pernille shares her favorite places and hidden gems of the city of light, fashion and romance.
1. Spa Pool, Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel
When I need to unwind after a busy few days of shows or travelling, I head to the Spa Pool, located in the Renaissance Paris Vendôme Hotel, my favorite hotel in Paris. The calming atmosphere and simple aesthetics make the indoor pool the perfect place for a leisurely swim and I instantly feel all my worries melt away. They also offer a sauna and steam room, as well as beauty treatments for when I need extra rejuvenation.
2. Caviar Kaspia
My all-time favorite restaurant is Caviar Kaspia, which is small yet luxurious, much like the delicacy they have served to fashion designers, artists and businessmen alike for more than 80 years. They make the best baked potatoes with caviar! It is truly a delectable combination that must be tried.
3. Tuileries Garden
Tuileries Garden, with its beautiful statues and basins, rich history and views of the Louvre, is where I do my morning run. I enjoy being in the cultural heart of the city, while breathing in some fresh air and soaking up the sunshine. Plus, there is always something new to discover.
4. Hotel Costes
One of my favorite things to do is to enjoy a leisurely outdoor breakfast in the renowned courtyard garden at Hotel Costes. The elegant yet unassuming exterior gives no indication of the vibrant, Italian-inspired garden at the back. I could easily while away the whole day there.
5. Palais de Tokyo
I always make time to visit Palais de Tokyo for inspiration, with its sweeping architecture and unpretentious, adventurous spirit. The gallery often features interesting upcoming artists and has the best bookstore inside.
In such an amazing city, it's difficult to limit myself to just five, so here is a bonus favorite of mine:
6. David Mallett
This is more of an experience than anything else. A head massage and hair treatment at David Mallett is pure deluxe and relaxation. His amazing salon is so beautiful, it feels like you have been invited into a private home.
