The HUGO Fall 2013 Collection presented in Berlin on Thursday is headlined “Reflection” and mirrors the counterpoint between past and future, nostalgia and novelty, tradition and innovation. The slim cuts are typical for HUGO. Couture fabrics, structures, leather details and innovative fabrics cause a surprise effect. My personal highlight is the sexy yet understated little red dress with the very deep V-neck presented by model Kasia Struss. The highlights from the menswear section are definitely all the coats and jackets – perfect cuts and interesting details. I am acknowledging the two designers Eyan and Bart with applause and cannot wait to get my hands on those fabulous pieces.
