What could be the result of a legendary house producer working with a legendary singer? That’s right, a great track that we simply have to feature on HUGO Tracks! Hamburg’s own Boris Dlugosch really deserves to be labeled as a legend: shaping the deep house sound like few others with his sets at legendary club FRONT in the mid-eighties, Dlugosch went on to become a world renown dj with numerous club hits. Wait a second, didn’t that guy remix Moloko’s “Sing It Back” and worked with their front singer Róisín Murphy on his hit “Never Enough”? That’s true – and he did just that once again! “Look Around You” features another stunning performance by Ms. Murphy and comes with a phenomenal video clip. Guaranteed hit!

Keenhouse is the alter ego of LA-based Ken Rangkuty. Rangkuty grew up in Indonesia and Germany, where he enjoyed diverse music training. In 2008, he released his debut album from his new home in Southern California, which was an 8 track-affair entitled “Civic Transit” and truly well-received by the blogosphere. Since Keenhouse understands music as a story, meaning something with a beginning, a middle and an end, it’s not really surprising that his new sophomore LP is a conceptually strong record full of different facets and influences. In order for you guys to be able to peek a bit into Keenhouse’s world, we have “Where I Belong” right here for your streaming-pleasure. Check it out and be inspired!

Parisian Producer and Dj Guillaume Berroyer aka ARK celebrates his first release on his hometown label Versatile Records. This release is an EP entitled “Street House EP” and it comes digitally and on vinyl! Our favorite on there is the opener “Emba Anthem”, with its samples from a cult west coast 90′s hip hop band (can anyone guess the name of the band?) – hence, we offer a free stream of the track right here for you guys to check! If you dig it as much as we do, go pick up the vinyl before you do anything else… C’est super!
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
[HearDis! 371]
Well, it would be rather easy to assume that we would like the gentleman Hugo Slime simply because of his name. Or the name of this track. But: this one is nothing short of a bomb! Mr. Slime is from the City of London and you can kinda tell by the incredibly clever and funky groove of “Hugo’s Elements”. Topped with a catchy vocal sample, this one is the kind of track DJs around the world will pick to inform their crowd that the party has just started. Make sure to check out more of Hugo’s stuff, because there’s way more where this came from. We put that on our name!
GENTLE PIANO
[HearDis! 370]
We have some more Audiolith heat coming your way, people! This time it is the rather recently formed Berlin-duo Torsun Teichgräber with their summer beauty “Dr. Sommer”. As the press info suggests, this one is filled with “heartfelt warmth, organic basslines and a whole lotta love”. As this is something that we can hardly ever get enough of, we were sold after the first couple of bars. And the second this lovely piano kicks in, we just can’t help but smile! Be quick and grab your free download of this track, which will not leave your personal playlist all summer! Promise!
HOUSE CAT
[HearDis! 369]
There are not that many tracks out there that perfectly describe a sunny afternoon in Berlin the way Rampue’s tracks do. He self-deprecatingly labels them “emohouse”, while they’re actually really cleverly used vocal samples accompanied by deep grooves. “Katz Und Maus” also uses these ingredients and people will fall for this one by the truckload. Check out this beauty right now by simply hitting play!
HOW SWEET IT IS
[HearDis! 365]
The ex bassist of Twin Shadow, Brooklyn’s Russ Manning aka Rush Midnight brings us this cool track called “Don’t Give Me Your Love”. We’re having quite a hard time to do as he wishes, because we can’t deny having a little crush on this song already… See for yourself if you can resist this ’80s influenced treat!
STREAM THE BASS

Bomb The Bass have really been around for a while now! Remember “Beat Dis”? Well, these guys truly helped moulding late 1980s acid house. These days, Tim Simenon and Paul Conboy are returning with a new track entitled “Wandering Star” and an album is supposed to drop later in 2013. A tour is in the making as well! Check out the remix by Ken Hayakawa right here to hear how they didn’t loose touch!
