When I heard that the gorgeous TV star and DJane Palina Rojinski would be spinning the records at our HUGO BOSS Berlinale Party I knew that I would spend the whole night on the dancefloor. And what can I say – that’s exactly what happened. The party theme was “Glamorous 20s” and the location was decorated accordingly. Food, music and drinks – all was inspired by the “Roaring 20s”.
Palina was rocking the house in a dress from the HUGO Winter 2012/2013 collection and had a great time according to her tweets. Great look, great sound, do I need to say more?!?
Erwan Castex aka Rone is a young and aspiring French electronic music artist. It makes complete sense that he’d major in film studies at university, since his music tends to showcase just that epic type of atmosphere that accounts for the greatness of so many classic movies. “Tohu-Bohu” is the name of his fantastic new album on InFiné Music and “Bye Bye Macadam” is the title of the great single you’re able to listen to right here. It even features his own voice and that of his girlfriend, but both were modified digitally to give the track that mysterious twist that makes you want to listen to it over and over again. We’re sure you’ll hear much more about and from Rone in the future, so check out his album and also his videos, as they are, unsurprisingly, great works of art as well![YouTube kfoJUeyMsOE]

Happy Valentine’s Day, my dear HUGO Blog readers! I am happy to share this special Valentine’s Day message from HUGO Fragrances ambassador Jared Leto with you. Enjoy!
Just as so many other sectors in today’s world, the dance music scene is more intertwined than ever and interesting intercontinental output is produced nearly every day. Just take this Atapy remix of Dake’s newest release as a prime example of how music serves as a barrier-breaking universal language and can result in a great, internationally understandable floorfiller! A Brazilian label, namely Playperview, releases a new record by a Brazilian DJ and Producer, namely Dake and receives a solid remix treatment by a Romanian DJ and Producer, namely Atapy. Sounds confusing? Just stream “Internal Disaster” right here and see that it’s easy as one two three…Splendid!
Simple black pumps are a must-have in every woman’s shoe closet. They match with everything and work at all occasion. However, they can also be kind of boring sometimes. That’s why we’ve added some fun and colorful stripes on our black HUGO pumps for the Spring 2013 season. I love surprising details, how about you?!
PS: The pimped-up-pointed-pumps are now available in our stores, so watch out!
If you are following me on twitter and instagram you know that since Thursday I’ve been in Berlin for the 63rd Berlinale Film Festival providing you with glamorous red carpet shots and regular updates from my little pop-up showroom here in Berlin. Hence the silence on the HUGO Blog. But in order to keep you, my dear blog readers, also in the loop of what’s happening on the red carpet at the Berlinale, here’s a picture I would definitely put into the category “best dressed” – it’s actor Florian David Fitz in HUGO. The slim fit HUGO suit goes so well with the slim tie and his smile does the rest. Agree? See more shots from the red carpet on facebook and stay tuned for more insights in the following days.
