PARKER
The son of the English golf coach Tim Parker, Ben got his first taste of professional golf at a very early age. As his father was based at Gut Waldhof in Germany, Ben grew up near Hamburg and was already gracing the city's U21 golf team at the age of 11. Two years later, he had already completed his first round in par figures.
The highlights of his career include victories at the 2002 Hazzards Trophy which earned him the English U16 championship. The following year he added the European U16 championship to his resume. In 2005 this fine prospect scored his biggest success to date, when he became only the second European in 42 years to win the Junior Orange Bowl in Miami. In 2007 Ben took further strides along the road to success by representing Great Britain in the Walker Cup, becoming the International German Amateur Champion and securing his card for the 2008 Challenge Tour.
