WATNEY
HUGO BOSS has been strategically expanding its golf sponsorship activities since the start of 2010 by signing agreements with two American pros. Born in Sacramento, California, Nick Watney had already claimed an outstanding fourth place at the Transition Championship in March 2010. As the season progressed, he posted numerous top-ten finishes, ending the year in 35th place on the Official World Golf Rankings. The avid sports fan also made a successful start to the 2011 season.
With an exciting victory at the WGC Cadillac Championship in March, Watney once again proved his class. Four months later, he successfully secured his second victory of the season at the AT&T National. These triumphs boosted him up to 11th place in the World Rankings.
