WILSON
Oliver Wilson had an outstanding amateur career that culminated in him leading the Great Britain & Ireland team to victory in the 2003 Walker Cup. As a member of the Augusta State University Jaguars between 1999 and 2002, he had already become a top-ranked player in the U.S. After a very solid first year on the Challenge Tour in 2004, he earned his full European Tour card for 2005. Oliver started 2006 with an outstanding performance at the Volvo China Open, finishing as runner-up after just losing a play-off to Paul Casey.
HUGO BOSS began sponsoring Oliver Wilson at the start of 2006. In 2007 Wilson made further solid progress on his way to joining the European elite. In the Johnnie Walker Classic in Thailand, he secured a fine second place, losing to the eventual winner in a play-off. In March of this year he claimed an excellent sixth place at the Ballantine's Championship and pocketed prize money of 50,000 EUR. During 2010 the Englishman claimed numerous top-ten placings. His best result was fifth at the WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship.
