The “Boardwalk” of the small historic town of Asbury park in New Jersey was the location for the BOSS Orange Spring/Summer 2014 campaign shoot.
Sun, beach and the sea, what more do you need for the perfect day? The right look! Which is exactly what BOSS Orange brought with them for the spring/summer 2014 campaign shoot near New York. Asbury Park was the chosen location this year. The historic city on the Atlantic coast was selected not just for its urban character, but also for the contrast between it and the endless wide sandy beach - perfect for the new BOSS Orange collection.
The menswear range is dominated by rebellious styles whereas the womenswear collection combines feminine looks with ethnic influences, floral embroidery and lots of lace.
For the implementation of the campaign, the photographer Alasdair McLellan was enlisted. He belongs to a generation of young British photographers who have a special sensitivity when dealing with their motifs. Unlike most today, he works with analog cameras and so achieves an exceptionally direct shot. His images convey this authenticity, and can now be found in the editorials of international fashion magazines. BOSS Orange also used tried and tested faces in front of the camera. Male model Mihaly Martins has already worked for several seasons for BOSS Orange. Andreea Diaconu was also at the last shoot.
