I just wanted to write down a little résumé of the last couple of months I’ve spent with HUGO. I had sooo much fun sharing some precious moments and cool little goodies with you guys, be it on the HUGO BOSS Youtube Channel, the HUGO BOSS Instagram or this very blog. Thanks so much for following me here! Just wanted to let all of you know, that I won’t be posting on here as frequently as I used to do, but you’ll surely still be seing me around. How so? Nina here! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me and I just wanted to share a little snapshot I recently took in Berlin with y’all. I kinda like it because it shows a nice combo of two of my biggest obsessions: vinyl records and neat little handbags! I go shop for records whenever I get the chance and I love that I sometimes have the privilege, as in this pic, to calmly browse the storage place of a record store. I always get really excited in places like that and dig my way through the many new and unknown treasures one can find there. And since so much good music is still or often not available digitally, you can find quite a few cool secret weapons here that can add some uniqueness to your dj set! Of course a shopping spree like that needs the right purse to go with it – and I simply love my stylish little HUGO leather clutch! One can never have enough nice records or handbags, if you ask me…

Well, you know how they say that all good things come to an end… sadly, this is already the last treat from my goodie bag series! While I’m truly not intending to toot my own horn here, this is also just a song I’ve really enjoyed recently and didn’t get tired of, even though I’ve listened to it a million times at least. It’s called “Aus”, features the great King Aus and is just another one of those nice hybrids of spoken-word and deep house grooves. Hope you guys like it! Ry Cumings’ voice is just so magically fragile on this song, and the production of Frank and Kristian from Âme is just as genius as everything they’ve ever done! Hi everyone,

well, I gotta say, there really ARE worse things than learning that Johnny Depp is a fan of your music… A friend sent me a link today to Mr. Depp’s first Beatport chart and I was truly happy and excited, given that he’s one of my absolute teenage crushes, to see that my song “Taxi Talk” is one of his ten favorite tracks at the moment! I had heard before that he’s quite enthusiastic about music and of course used to be co-owner of the Viper Room in LA (which sadly reminds me of River Phoenix, another favorite of mine…), but I wasn’t aware that he was keeping track with current club music releases! Anyway, just had to share this with you guys, now I better get back to producing some more Hollywood-approved house music!
