The reminiscence of the 60s is back – the box bag. I’ve already spotted box bags dangling from well-known fashionistas’ arms during fashion week and ever since I heard that our accessories designers are working on a HUGO version of the iconic bag I knew I would be craving one. Now, the precious little thing has hit the stores and my bag closet. And I love everything about it – the two textures, the clasp, the long shoulder strap and the purple detail. Seems like HUGO has taken the iconic box bag to the future. Well done!

SKYFALL, the new James Bond movie, has just started to hit the theaters. I’ve already booked my ticket and I am so excited to see the movie. How about you? To sweeten the wait let’s take a closer look at one of the three new bond girls - Greek actress and model Tonia Sotiropoulou who looked glamorous in one of our HUGO gowns at the GQ Men of the Year Award 2012 Gala in Berlin on Friday. Tonia plays the third bond girl alongside Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe. A tough beauty and therefore a typical HUGO woman – strong, independet and sexy, of course.

I spy HUGO Spring 2012 on the red carpet! German model Eva Padberg was rocking one of the futuristic dresses from the HUGO Spring 2012 collection at the GQ Men of the Year 2012 Award Gala in Berlin on Friday. The dress also comes in black – check it out here – but I really adore this fresh mint green color. Even though the winter has just started I’m now seriously craving the new styles for spring…

As I already told yo, we at HUGO BOSS are huge fans of the Mad Men series. And I believe this ensemble from the HUGO Winter 2012 collection was clearly inspired by the women working in advertising companies on Madison Avenue back in the sixties. It’s so very sixties-secretary, but the neon color turns it into a contemporary must-have. I can already picture the total look with opaque tights and a white or black silk blouse. Joan would be proud of me – wink wink.
