Mad Men wear HUGO. Don’t believe me? Here’s proof: Mad Man actor Vincent Kartheiser was spotted in a head-to-toe HUGO look at the Emmy Awards in L.A. last Sunday. Vincent, who plays Pete Campbell in the award-winning US hit series is a huge fan of the HUGO brand. When the new season of your favorite TV series is about to air you know for sure that the fall/winter season has started. I bet that many of you are looking forward to the new season of Two and a Half Men, am I right!? Season 10′s first episode is airing tomorrow in the US, so the long wait is finally over. So far so good, but I bet you are questioning yourself, where is the link to fashion? Hah! I got you. Well, it’s actor Jon Cryer aka Alan Jerome Harper, who looked fierce in HUGO when receiving his Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in Two and a Half Man in Los Angeles last Sunday. Our fitted tuxedo jacket and slim tie looked so good on Jon that I would love to see him in further HUGO looks. Anyway, congratulations to Jon and happy TV series watching to all of you!
Grey clouds, rain and dropping temperatures call for cozy cover-ups. Fortunately, ponchos are still THE thing to wear in-between seasons. In this knitted poncho by HUGO you will not only look stylish but also feel as safely cocooned as you feel at home on the couch in your favorite blanket. Work it with slim pants, wool or leather leggings or skinny jeans and opt for pointed pumps or booties to maintain a sexy silhouette.
Fall 2012 presents somehow unpredictable weather in most cities. Especially for those really cold days one trend in men’s fashion is again our beloved duffle coat. The duffle coat is the journeyman of outerwear. It has been reinterpreted over the years, but the basic style remains the same. There is the heavy fabric, those unmistakable closures with their handcraft style of leather loops and horn toggles to fasten the coat closed. And don’t forget that wonderful big bucket of a hood! This year it’s been updated with unique colors, variations and styles. Take a look at this duffle coat style from HUGO fall 2012. It’s great for keeping you warm and fashionable at the same time!
From musicians to models! Take a look what I’ve just spotted: It’s our darling HUGO Tracks Artist Nina Kraviz featured in me.style, the fashion magazin of the German Musikexpress. And look what she’s wearing: one of my favorite pieces, the black and blue colored dress from HUGO Fall 2012 and these beautiful HUGO sandals. Can’t good music always look that good?
As you go outside these days you can sense that fall is not far away anymore. It’s time to button down and cozy up with this season’s fall coat trends. The range of women’s coats of fall 2012 is wide enough. However, one of the undisputed leader and trend of the season is again the trench coat. It can be made in classical performance and as a typical representative of the military style. It can be large or small, playing with light and dark shades of one color or create a vivid contrast. Ladies, a trench coat like this from HUGO fall 2012 has to be in every wardrobe for this fall season!
Well, it’s that time again: Whether you like it or not, summer is coming to an end and fall is right around the corner! Time to get on top of the latest trends: These colder-weather snoods from HUGO menswear fall 2012 are a classic component to fashion and you can’t go wrong adding one or more of them to your wardrobe. But believe me, finding the perfect snood can prove to be more a challenge than you would expect…
it’s Kasper tuning in from England’s vibrant capital. The lovely folks at HUGO BOSS invited me to London to play their Summer Party, and since such things usually turn out to be a fun time, my response was naturally positive. I’ve played in many galleries throughout my career and always liked the way these venues allow you to leave the musical path of an ordinary clubnight, since somehow such a context seems to change people’s perception a bit and let’s them be way more open-minded about the music that’s being played. Plus, the Saatchi Gallery is quite a feast for the eyes itself, and when the numerous rooms are crowded with chic people with luscious drinks in their hands, the term “summer party” pretty much hits the bull’s-eye. So, it’s too bad some of you couldn’t make it, peep the video to get an idea of the ripping good time we were having at Saatchi! I’ll talk to you guys later…
