If you are following me on twitter and instagram you know that since Thursday I’ve been in Berlin for the 63rd Berlinale Film Festival providing you with glamorous red carpet shots and regular updates from my little pop-up showroom here in Berlin. Hence the silence on the HUGO Blog. But in order to keep you, my dear blog readers, also in the loop of what’s happening on the red carpet at the Berlinale, here’s a picture I would definitely put into the category “best dressed” – it’s actor Florian David Fitz in HUGO. You all know that I am addicted to twitter. I think that it’s the perfect channel to share the latest news and insights with you and to let you sneak a peek into the world of HUGO BOSS. So whenever I meet interesting people who are not tweeting I do my best to convince them to get an account up and running. And so I am more than happy that our HUGO Menswear designer Bart de Backer is now posting from his twitter account on a regular basis. And no, there’s no ghost writer or PR strategist behind it. We believe in color this spring. So forget about the navy trend. Blue and white stripes are boring anyway. Pink-black-white-and-jade-green stripes are so much cooler. Agree? Do you remember a season when parkas were not in fashion? I do not. The parka is an urban classic. For me, it is also the ultimate piece for the festival season. Good news, girls. Prints are still going to be a huge hit in 2013. Especially ornamental ones. I will definitely get these printed pants from the HUGO Spring 2013 Collection and wear them with a white blouse or slim cut white V-neck shirt. Advanced fashionistas sport the allover look: print from head to toe – as seen on editorialista Miroslava Duma. I love the allover print look, but it’s a little bit too much for my personal taste. I’m still the clean HUGO girl I always was.
