It’s HUGO Tracks Podcast time, folks. Once again, we’ve pulled together all the tracks we’ve posted here on the HUGO blog over the past month to bring you one mix for your morning jog, Saturday pre-party or Sunday cool-down.

Bozzwell is the alias of David Boswell, a producer and DJ who’s been soldiering through dance music for nearly twenty years. “Ambition,” his new single, is a sparse, electro-tinged commentary on the underbelly of the music industry. It’s dark, and we’re into it.

Have you ever wondered who’s in charge of the runway walks at HUGO BOSS? It’s choreographer Carlo Castro, who has worked with so many famous models that it’s hard to keep track. Watch him explain the different walks, talk about his job, his favorite girls, and about how he started his career as a “translator”. And when you are strolling down the street the next time just keep in mind: “Little arms, little hips – that’s the classic walk!”

Yelle, whose Safari Disco Club was one of our favorite albums of 2011, has been on our minds a lot recently. Perhaps it’s because of this video for “Comme Un Enfant”, which left an indelible mark on us. We still watch it, sometimes a couple times in a day. Luckily, for a little variety, there’s this Panteros666 remix of the song, which satisfies our need for bass and has enough of the original vocals intact that we can play out the video in our minds while dancing around HUGO headquarters.

I must admit that I am fascinated by models. Not only are they extremely good-looking and somehow beaming with joy and beauty, but most of them are also friendly, spontaneous and open-minded. At least, this applies to all the models I’ve met so far. So when I ran into top model Mathias Lauridsen and newcomer Josefine Nielsen backstage at the HUGO Fashion Show in Berlin I took the chance to ask them about their job and lifestyle. Luckily our camera team was there to record everything on tape. Hello spontaneity! I hope you enjoy watching Mathias and Josefine, who – by the way – had the honor to close the fashion show, talk about their lifestyle, the new HUGO Fall/Winter 2012 collection and about how they started their careers.

Back in March of last year, we featured a track by Gloden Bug and Rodion. Well, Rodion is back again, this time teaming up with the classic producer, Khan, and a vocalist going simply by the name of Andrea. Home Video, a couple of gents who originally hail from New Orleans but now reside in Brooklyn, have been making music together since 2004, when they released a couple of EPs on Warp. Since then, they’ve been remixed by DFA’s Tim Goldsworthy, and they’ve shared the stage with everyone from Flying Lotus to Blonde Redhead to Justice. The next feather in their cap is “When I Was Young,” a song that seems to be a nod to Eric Burdon.
