All we could think of when we heard the name of this track – “Chip Munk Bronx” – was Alvin and the Chipmunks doing covers of old-school hip-hop. But that is definitely NOT what we’re serving up in this free download. Rubinskee‘s nod to the Bronx is through old-school electro sounds coaxed out of 808s and synthesizers. We’re still not sure why he chose to use the word “Chip Munk” in the title, but who cares? We’re into it.
