BARHAM
Born in England in 1976, Benn Barham turned pro after capturing the 1994 Kent Amateur and Junior title. His best result to date has been fourth place at the Scottish PGA Championships in Gleneagles on the 2000 European PGA Tour.
Barham has been competing consistently on the European PGA Tour since 2006. He has already left his mark with a fine fifth place at the Barclays Scottish Open in July 2006. Third place in the Inteco Russian Open Golf Championship 2008 and a runners-up spot at the Austrian Golf Open in September 2009 have been his best finishes in recent years. Following health problems in 2010, the Brit is playing on the Challenge Tour in 2011 with the goal of regaining his European Tour Card.
The popular Englishman also finds time to organize charity golf tournaments in support of the Demelza Children's Hospice in his home county of Kent.
Since 2006 Barham has again been competing on the European PGA Tour. He has already left his mark with a fine fifth place at the Barclays Scottish Open. In 2007, his best result was at the Estoril Open de Portugal, when he finished in twenty-fifth place. On February 10, 2008, he claimed an outstanding fifteenth place at the Emaar-MGF Indian Masters.
