In 2007 Kramer turned professional and became an instant star. With victories at the Olympus Classic and the Sybrook Classic, the young golfer was immediately nominated for the German PGA team. He followed this with another exceptionally successful year in 2008, which actually marked an improvement on the previous season. In addition to winning the Gloria Classic, he was victorious at the Heidelberg-Cobenfeld Classic – setting a new course record in the process. Having finished second in the CEPD Order of Merit, Kramer secured his card for the 2009 Challenge Tour. He demonstrated his class on the European Tour with an impressive 44th place in the BMW International Open in 2009. After gathering considerable experience on the 2009 Challenge Tour, Kramer again competed on the European Professional Development (EPD) Tour in 2010, finishing in second position. As a result, the young German once again secured his card for the 2011 Challenge Tour.
