It’s showtime! From February 6 to 13, New York will be buzzing – because that’s when at the local Lincoln Center and in various other locations, once again, the city revolves around fashion. Thousands of fashion journalists, buyers, stylists, VIPs and celebrities have gathered in the “Big Apple” for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and eagerly awaiting the new creations for the upcoming Fall/Winter season.
One of the major highlights of this year's event is the debut of designer Jason Wu in his new role as Artistic Director of BOSS Womenswear. Since the middle of last year, he has been responsible for the brand’s creative direction, and the first results of the new partnership will be presented at New York Fashion. Wu has not yet revealed much of his new collection, however, he has said that the company’s rich tradition in craftmanship and its strong roots in the menswear business have been an essential inspiration for his new womenswear looks.
