Sightseeing, culture, and a helicopter flight over Melbourne – enjoy the first, truly personal city tour with Nico Rosberg and David Coulthard!
Whether it’s a cultural highlight or culinary pleasure – this is where Nico Rosberg presents the Top 3 most beautiful places in Melbourne:
1. CITY LANEWAYS / HOSIER LANE
Melbourne is the city of street art. Artists have decorated a total of 64 streets with their colorful graffiti, transforming the metropolis into a living work of art. Hosier Lane is the heart of this gigantic outdoor gallery.
“All of the walls of the narrow streets, and even the shutters, are completely covered in graffiti. It looks simply stunning,” says Nico enthusiastically.
2. NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA / FEDERATION SQUARE
It might be Picasso, it might be product design: The National Gallery of Victoria is devoted to two entirely different art genres in two separate locations. Art from Europa, Asia, Oceania and America is on display at St Kilda Road in Southbank.
Nico Rosberg’s personal tip: “The current exhibition ‘Shifting Gear. Design, Innovation and the Australian Car’ is a must for every motor sport fan!”
3. CIRCA RESTAURANT
Sensual pleasure: The Circa Restaurant, right beside St Kilda Harbor, succeeds in combining first-class culinary delights with a relaxed and modern atmosphere. Knowing where their food comes from is very important to the owners, which is why they work closely with selected farmers and fishermen in the region.
A good diet is also important to Nico Rosberg: “As a racing driver, I pay a lot of attention to my diet, and that goes for my free time too. When I go to a restaurant, what matters most to me is the quality of the products and where they come from.”
The tour continues on to Asia in April: Ahead of the China Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton, accompanied by David Coulthard, will be taking us to Shanghai where he will show us his personal highlights in this mega-city.
