Water-repellent hooded jacket in mixed materials

A water-repellent padded jacket by BOSS Menswear. Featuring signature-stripe trims at the cuffs, hem and hood, this modern jacket is crafted in a combination of materials including recycled nylon and organic cotton with quilted panels at the front and back. For our RESPONSIBLE products, we always use at least 60% more sustainable raw materials. This garment is made from at least 60% certified organic cotton. Organic cotton is only grown with naturally occurring substances and no genetically modified seeds. Organic farming encourages the use of natural measures, such as crop rotation and composting, to control pests and diseases rather than relying on chemicals. This garment is partly made from certified recycled polyamide. By using recycled polyamide, we aim to save resources by making use of existing plastic material. Recycled nylon is usually made from pre-consumer spinning or fabric waste and may also come from post-consumer industrial fishing nets. We only use raw materials with a verified chain of custody to ensure the use of certified recycled polyamide. This garment is partly made from certified recycled polyester. Recycled polyester is an artificial fibre made from oil-based waste such as old PET bottles. It is a more sustainable option compared to conventional polyester, as we can reuse a material that has already been produced. Using recycled polyester also reduces plastic waste and stops it from ending up landfills. We only use raw materials with a verified chain of custody to ensure the use of certified recycled polyester.
