HUGO BOSS stands for impeccable style, uncompromising quality and a responsible approach to the world around us. We use the RESPONSIBLE label to mark styles made of at least 60% more sustainably sourced raw materials. We work continually to reduce our environmental impact and support society, helping to protect our planet for the generations to come.

BOSS continues on the path toward more responsible fashion. We want to spotlight the essential beauty of nature with products crafted from more sustainable, natural materials. This season, it’s organic cotton, hemp and undyed fabrics to reduce our impact on the planet.

  • 40% reduction of our own water consumption proportionate to our turnover by 2025 (in comparison to 2016)

A long-standing commitment

We want to increase the amount of RESPONSIBLE styles in our collections and continue to offer innovative and more sustainable solutions. We want to reduce our ecological footprint by using climate-friendly processes. We not only want to use a larger proportion of more sustainable materials, but also want to continue our longstanding commitment to ethical action, social initiatives and animal welfare.

Animal Welfare

Our materials are selected according to strict criteria, and we follow recognised standards for animal welfare. We only use leather from sheep, goats, cattle and buffalo that are by-products of the food industry. Additionally, we only use downs that are obtained without live-plucking or forced-feeding, and we do not use angora wool.

Environmental protection

We are improving our environmental footprint with environmentally and climate-friendly processes. Energy from renewable energies, sustainable architecture, and considerate handling of resources are just some of the measures we are undertaking to achieve this goal.
