The iconic white suit

BOSS x Michael Jackson

The story of the partnership

A suit fit for a king

In the year of Michael Jackson's Diamond Birthday, we are celebrating an unforgettable moment in music history. In 1982, the King of Pop released his game-changing album "Thriller" and selected a white BOSS suit to wear for the cover art. "Thriller" remains the biggest selling album of all time, and the cover is an enduring statement of Michael Jackson's timeless style.

A music legend, a style icon

To honor Michael Jackson, we have created a new edition of the iconic suit design, limited to just 100 individual pieces. The new edition references the original's silhouette, fabric and details throughout, and is entirely crafted at the HUGO BOSS headquarters in Germany.

The T-shirt collection

Captured in fashion

Completing this celebration, we have released three official T-shirts depicting the King of Pop. The unisex T-shirts feature special moments in Michael Jackson's career, from his dance moves to his iconic images.

GRAHAM DOLPHIN AND BOSS COLLABORATE

  • Michael Jackson: an artist becomes art

Michael Jackson is a major source of inspiration for British artist Graham Dolphin. Based on a joint admiration for the King of Pop, BOSS and Graham Dolphin embarked on a collaboration.

  • A new take

As part of the collaboration, Graham Dolphin developed an exclusive artwork for the BOSS T-shirt collection. It features the "Thriller" album cover, written over with statements from Michael Jackson fans, collected by the artist and presented in his signature style.

  • Signature tailoring

The original white "Thriller" suit inspired Graham Dolphin. Working with the new edition, he created a physical form of his own artwork paying tribute to Michael Jackson's most famous song lyrics.

'Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was one of the first records I ever bought - I was ten years old. I vividly remember the hype around the first showing of Thriller on TV.'
