The Art Of Style: Into The Studio With The BOSS x Jeremyville Holiday Collection in partnership with GQ
BOSS x Jeremyville Holiday Collection

BOSS has made contemporary art part of its brand for years. The 2018 holiday collection with New York-based illustrator and artist Jeremyville is the latest collaboration. “Every project starts with a drawing in my sketchbook, and it grows from there,” Jeremyville says. This time, what emerged from his sketchbook was a range of animal characters and deconstructions of an imaginary city—“totems to the holidays,” he calls them. The Jeremyville studio served as backdrop for 5 GQ Insiders styled in BOSS x Jeremyville holiday-season looks

White tennis shoes and a minimalist outfit let the natty pattern of this limited-edition backpack shine. The dress shirt features a tone-on-tone Jeremyville pattern, too.

Remember this downtown black-tie look for your next New Year’s party or free-spirited arts benefit: a slim-fit velvet tuxedo with mercerized cotton t-shirt that’s emblazoned with Jeremyville “totems” across the chest. Patent-leather oxfords are a classic formal touch. There’s also a matching pocket square.

Igee Okafor

This high-contrast evening ensemble benefits from a conversation-piece accessory that lets the geometric Jeremyville designs shine. Will the clutch or the dinner jacket make a bigger splash? A suave turtleneck (virgin wool with silk) completes the look.

Salomon DuBois Thiombiano

A dark slim-fit suit (with double-breasted blazer) adds a sober but cool contrast to this festive satin shirt. Jeremyville opted for a candyshop palette rather than the usual seasonal red-and-green—“a fresh take on traditional holiday colors,” he says.

Tom Bull

A reversible satin bomber jacket anchors this upscale-sporty ensemble. There’s a black-on-black Jeremyville pattern on the inside; when it comes to the Italian-made leather sneakers, the pattern screams loud and clear. The chinos are not for slouches: they’re a rich, heavy, Italian stretch-cotton twill.
