A journey of self-belief

Charlotte Groeneveld is constantly on the move for her blog "The Fashion Guitar", jetting into fashion weeks around the globe. The Dutch native, now based in NYC, has come a long way in a short time, considering her initial venture into blogging was a leap of faith. Well aware of the competitive market she was throwing herself into, she was convinced that by being unapologetically real she would succeed. And she did, in style.

Stepping into the unknown

After completing his studies, Kevin Pabel decided to leave his native Germany to pursue an opportunity in South Africa. His modelling career took off there, and the travel has been non-stop ever since. In demand as a model and rising Instagram star, Kevin puts his success down to hard work and determination. "My brother said once 'luck is quite predictable'. We often say successful people are lucky in what they are doing. But I think you need to work, and sometimes even fight. for that kind of luck in your life."

JEREMY MITCHELL

Shooting for the stars

"I love a good challenge. I can be really competitive sometimes. I love winning, but I also don't fear failure. Everything is a learning experience." Photographer Jeremy Mitchell knows what he's talking about. To get where he is today, shooting images for a number of fashion brands, meant taking a risk and quitting his job. It was a risk worth taking. Now, in addition to his photography, Jeremy has drawn attention for his personal style, which he brings here to tailoring from the BOSS Menswear collection.

A woman of many talents

Creative director Evangelie Smyrniotaki has channeled her ambitions into a number of fields. After the success of her acclaimed website Style Heroine, she set up her own creative studio under the same name. She explains, "I have taken steps to move behind the lens and into direction, and that’s something that really inspires me to continue evolving and sharpening my mind and my senses."

Fong Min Liao

Self-expression via a universal language

Having amassed over 100,000 Instagram followers, painter Fong Min Liao is a very modern artist, with a modern sense of style to match. The Chinese-American, who now has two solo exhibitions under her belt, spoke to us about her work and what it means to her. "My paintings are where I express myself, my values and beliefs in the hope of bringing people together. This is what drives me in life because I believe art is a universal language."

A man on the move in style

A global outlook has defined Carlo Sestini's life from an early age. Born in Italy, he attended an international boarding school in Switzerland, where he became fluent in five languages. Now, Carlo is constantly on the move as a prominent influencer, courtesy of his unique sartorial flair, which shined through when wearing our new collection on the streets of New York.

Douglas Joseph

Always on the lookout

Douglas Joseph's modeling career has taught him a lesson or two about success, and he has been sure to take note. "A lot of people look at success as simply achieving goals. However if you make a mistake, yet recognise what you did wrong in the process, there's an element of success in there." For Douglas, success isn't about one final goal; he's always in pusuit of the next. "It's a never-ending cycle. As soon as you achieve something, I think you end up striving for something bigger and better. This desire provides a constant motivation."
