To mark the release of his second capsule, our ambassador explains the inspiration behind the new collection, his favourite pieces and what it’s like to work with HUGO.
The new collection is a result of merging HUGO’s DNA with my aesthetic. This season, we thought it would be cool to celebrate both our journeys so far. We’ve remixed the HUGO logo so it reads HUGO.93.LP in reference to the year I was born and the year that the brand was established.
There are too many to choose from to be honest! The thing I wear most is the tracksuit. It’s so comfortable and it looks great as well. I also love the trainers we’ve done. It’s my first time designing footwear so I’m excited to see what everyone thinks!
Definitely. I’ve realised that although I love getting dressed up every now and again, casual outfits are what I feel most comfortable in. I am really growing into my own style now. I know what works for me and what doesn’t, and I’m OK with that.
Honestly? It’s great. It’s opened me up to other ways of being creative. It really is a collaborative effort. The only challenging thing is editing the collections down! I always love every piece!
