The experience begins with selecting fabrics from a library of some 250 options, including timeless Glen plaid, pinstripe and micro-herringbone designs. Woven in Italy from silk and wool, these materials will be crafted into your Made to Measure coat, suit or scarf.

The essence of BOSS Made to Measure lies in an individually customised service at every stage, from fitting to delivery. Be it a single or double-breasted jacket, wide or narrow lapels, button or link cuffs, BOSS Made to Measure delivers complete flexibility. Suit buttons in subtle colours, including mother-of-pearl, vegetable ivory and buffalo horn, act as elegant points of difference, and your signature can be stitched inside the jacket as well as in the lining of the waistband. Shirts can be customised down to the last detail, from a precisely defined cut to the form of the collar.

Finishing touches

BOSS Made to Measure accessories are handmade in Italy to the highest standards. Crafted from the finest woven silk, each five-fold tie is inlaid with pure virgin wool and available in a choice of lengths and widths. As a further bespoke detail, the tie may be lined with the same fabric as the accompanying Made to Measure shirt. Hand-rolled pocket squares can be made from coordinating silk or matched to the shirt cotton, and both pieces can, of course, be monogrammed.

Cut according to precise individual measurements from head to toe, each fully canvassed suit is expertly constructed from 200 individual pieces. Lightweight fabrics and the natural stretch of a camel and horsehair chest canvas ensure a balance of suppleness and structure. All suits are made in Germany at the HUGO BOSS headquarters in Metzingen, where modern tailoring methods combine with exquisite craftsmanship in the unique BOSS art of tailoring.

 

BOSS Made to Measure stands for sartorial perfection, with every element individually defined. Crafted from Irish linen and cashmere, the undercollar is stitched by hand to ensure an impeccable shape, while jacket, sleeve and waistband linings are as personal as the main fabric of the suit, each chosen to perfectly complement the rest of the look.
